For over a century, the Woolton Village Club has been an integral part of the community and has played a significant role in the history of Woolton village. This grade 2 listed building has been a venue for various events, including the early days of the Beatles when Paul McCartney met John Lennon through a mutual friend and later joined the group. The line-up that included three future Beatles, including George Harrison, even performed at the Village Club in 1959 as The Quarrymen.
