After fronting Fairport Convention on their first three albums in the 1960s and leading Matthews Southern Comfort to a UK Number 1 with their iconic version of Joni Mitchell’s “Woodstock”, Matthews went on to an extraordinary career that includes over 50 albums, collaborations, and chart hits like “Shake It”.
Now, with the release of his latest solo album “How Much Is Enough?” (Sunset Blvd. Records, October 2024), Matthews continues to evolve — blending his folk roots with influences like Elliott Smith and Hiss Golden Messenger, fusing acoustic and electric sounds.
